What you'll do

As a Principal Software Engineer, you will lead the development of Okta's Android client software, ensuring that it meets the highest standards of security and usability. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement features that enhance user experience and streamline authentication processes. Your role will involve mentoring junior engineers, guiding them in best practices for Android development and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

You will also be responsible for contributing to the architectural decisions that shape the future of Okta's products — your insights will help drive the direction of the Access Management Engineering Team as it builds foundational blocks for products like Okta FastPass and Okta Device Assurance. You will engage in code reviews, ensuring that the codebase remains robust and maintainable while adhering to industry standards.
