Who you are
You have extensive experience in finance management, particularly in accounting, tax, and regulatory reporting. Your background includes managing financial statements and audits, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and developing internal controls to enhance financial integrity. You are adept at cost management and have a keen understanding of financial processes that drive efficiency and accuracy. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are committed to fostering a culture of transparency and accountability within your team. You understand the importance of integrating local financial practices with broader organizational strategies, and you are skilled at adapting systems to meet specific requirements.
What you'll do
In this role, you will take ownership of the accounting and financial reporting processes for OKX in Turkey. You will prepare financial statements for external audits and regulatory inquiries, ensuring that all reports are accurate and submitted on time. You will manage the month-end closing process, integrating it with the consolidated group's financials. Your responsibilities will also include overseeing the accounts payable process and managing all company operating expenses. You will lead the financial statements audit for the local entity, establishing robust internal controls around financial reporting. Additionally, you will develop effective and automated processes for financial management, contributing to the overall efficiency of the finance department.
