You have 5+ years of experience in site reliability engineering, with a strong focus on maintaining and optimizing large-scale data platforms. Your expertise includes working with big data technologies such as AWS EMR and Apache Spark, ensuring that systems are robust and efficient. You possess a deep understanding of middleware architecture, including tools like Kafka and Spring, which allows you to ensure high performance and availability across services. Your experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes enables you to optimize runtime environments effectively, ensuring resource utilization is maximized while maintaining stable service operations. You are well-versed in network architecture and security, providing guidance on infrastructure to enhance system reliability. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to implement best practices in site reliability and performance optimization.

Desirable

Experience with cloud platforms such as Alibaba Cloud and familiarity with data warehousing solutions like Hologres and ClickHouse would be advantageous. What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability and optimization of our big data platforms, including Alibaba Cloud DataWorks and AWS EMR. You will work on enhancing the performance of our data warehouses, such as MaxCompute and Hologres, and ensure that our systems can handle the demands of millions of users accessing decentralized applications. You will collaborate with engineering teams to deeply understand the architecture and principles of middleware, ensuring that our services are always available and performant. Your role will involve optimizing existing runtime environments, utilizing technologies like KVM, Docker, and Kubernetes to ensure efficient resource utilization. You will also provide guidance on network architecture and security, contributing to the overall reliability of our infrastructure. Your insights will help shape our approach to incident management and capacity planning, ensuring that we can scale effectively as we grow.
