You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly in backend development, and have a strong understanding of microservices architecture. You are proficient in Java and have experience building scalable systems that handle real-time data processing. You are familiar with fraud detection systems and have a keen interest in the crypto space, understanding the unique challenges and opportunities it presents.

You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy mentoring junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow. You are detail-oriented and have a strong problem-solving mindset, allowing you to tackle challenges effectively. Desirable

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus, as is familiarity with data analytics tools that can enhance fraud detection capabilities. Knowledge of blockchain technology and its applications in finance would be beneficial, as well as any experience with real-time monitoring systems.

What you'll do

As a Senior/Staff Software Engineer on the Fraud Risk team, you will be responsible for driving key initiatives that enhance the security and reliability of the OKX platform. You will implement and support backend microservices that are crucial for real-time fraud monitoring and detection. Collaborating closely with frontend developers and other cross-functional teams, you will ensure that complex deliverables are met on time and to a high standard.

You will conduct research to identify potential vulnerabilities and provide meaningful technical feedback to influence team decisions. Your role will involve designing and developing robust systems that can handle high volumes of transactions while maintaining security and performance. You will also participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall improvement of the engineering practices within the team.
