You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly in building high-performance trading systems. Your background includes a deep understanding of order and position management systems, and you are well-versed in the complexities of trading products such as spot, margin, futures, options, and perpetuals. You possess strong programming skills in Java and C++, and you are comfortable working in a low-latency environment where performance is critical. Your experience includes collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions that meet user needs.

You are familiar with the crypto trading landscape and understand the importance of security and reliability in financial applications. You have a proven track record of optimizing systems for performance and scalability, and you are adept at troubleshooting and resolving issues in production environments. You thrive in a collaborative setting and enjoy mentoring junior engineers, sharing your knowledge, and contributing to a positive team culture.

Desirable

Experience with blockchain technology or decentralized applications (dApps) is a plus. Familiarity with agile methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices will help you excel in this role. What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Trading Service team at OKX, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the core systems that power our trading platform. You will design and implement features that enhance the user experience, ensuring that our trading products are reliable and efficient. You will focus on optimizing the performance of our trading systems, ensuring low-latency execution of trades and efficient order management. You will also participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to your peers and ensuring adherence to best practices in software development.
