Who you are

You have a solid STEM education background and 5-8 years of software development experience, preferably in trading or latency-sensitive environments. Your expertise includes designing and optimizing high throughput order execution systems with sub-millisecond latency targets, and you are skilled in building real-time market data pipelines that aggregate order books and price feeds from multiple exchanges.

You are proficient in implementing position tracking with exchange reconciliation, risk limits, and multi-account support. Your experience includes developing exchange connectivity using protocols such as FIX 5.0+, WebSocket, and HTTP/2. You have a strong understanding of profiling and eliminating latency hotspots through garbage-free coding and lock-free concurrency techniques.

What you'll do

In this role, you will design and optimize high throughput order execution systems, ensuring they meet sub-millisecond latency targets. You will build real-time market data pipelines that aggregate order books and price feeds from multiple exchanges, which is crucial for maintaining a competitive edge in the trading environment.

You will implement position tracking systems that include exchange reconciliation, risk limits, and support for multiple accounts. Your responsibilities will also involve developing exchange connectivity using FIX 5.0+, WebSocket, and HTTP/2 protocols, which are essential for seamless trading operations.

Additionally, you will profile and eliminate latency hotspots in the system, employing garbage-free coding and lock-free concurrency to enhance performance. You will also implement pre-trade risk controls, circuit breakers, and rate limiters to ensure the integrity and reliability of trading operations.
