You are comfortable with on-call rotations and understand the importance of responding to critical incidents, ensuring that the systems you build are not only functional but also resilient. What you'll do

In this role, you will design and build the development and production platforms that power OpenAI's products, enabling reliability and security at scale. You will ensure that the infrastructure can scale to meet the demands of rapidly growing user bases and product offerings.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including research, engineering, product, and design, to bring innovative AI solutions to consumers and businesses. Your contributions will directly impact the performance and reliability of products like ChatGPT and the OpenAI API.

You will be responsible for maintaining the core infrastructure that supports these products, which includes managing Kubernetes clusters, overseeing infrastructure deployment, and optimizing networking stacks. Your role will also involve creating cloud abstractions that streamline the deployment process, allowing for faster and more efficient product launches.
