What you'll do

In this role, you will design and apply methods to improve the safety and reliability of AI models, focusing on healthcare applications. You will implement techniques such as Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF), automated red teaming, and scalable oversight to enhance model performance. Your work will involve evaluating these methods using health-related data to ensure that the AI models are trustworthy and effective in real-world scenarios.

You will also build reusable libraries for applying general alignment techniques to our models, contributing to the broader mission of OpenAI in creating safe and beneficial AI. Collaboration with other researchers and teams will be essential as you work towards developing AI systems that can significantly improve patient outcomes and assist medical professionals in their work.
