Job Description
Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, particularly within corporate finance, where you've developed a strong understanding of financial planning and analysis (FP&A) processes. Your expertise in SQL allows you to manipulate and analyze data effectively, ensuring accuracy in reporting and forecasting. You are comfortable working with cross-functional teams and have a knack for translating complex financial data into actionable insights for leadership.
You are proficient in using AI tools to automate workflows and improve reporting efficiency. Your analytical mindset enables you to conduct scenario analysis and strategic modeling, supporting investment decisions and cost optimization initiatives. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy partnering with various corporate functions to drive financial discipline.
What you'll do
In this role, you will own the FP&A rhythm, managing the monthly and quarterly cycles, including forecast updates and budget vs. actuals analysis. You will create consolidated executive reporting packages that highlight performance, risks, and opportunities, providing leadership with timely and insightful information. Your partnership with the Accounting team will be crucial in supporting the monthly close process and ensuring the integrity of financial data.
You will drive ad hoc scenario analysis and strategic modeling to support investment decisions and prioritize initiatives across corporate functions. By building and maintaining financial models, you will enable high-quality decision-making and investment trade-offs. Your work will directly impact how Opendoor approaches financial planning and execution, contributing to the company's mission of transforming homeownership.
