Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on building scalable SaaS applications. Your expertise in JavaScript and frameworks like React allows you to create user-friendly interfaces that enhance the user experience. You are comfortable working in an agile environment and have a knack for solving complex technical challenges, making you a valuable asset to any engineering team.
Your experience with Node.js and GraphQL enables you to design and implement robust backend services that support high-performance applications. You thrive in collaborative settings, working closely with product managers and UX designers to ensure that the solutions you build meet user needs and business goals. You are also eager to take on leadership responsibilities, guiding junior engineers and contributing to the overall growth of your team.
What you'll do
As a Software Engineer III at OpenGov, you will lead the development of innovative SaaS solutions that empower local and state governments. Your role will involve designing and optimizing applications for speed and scalability, ensuring that they can handle the demands of public sector operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scopes and deliver high-quality software that meets the needs of government agencies.
