Oportun is hiring a Financial Analyst to support the Operations Financial Analysis team. You'll work closely with various departments to determine operational costs and provide insights to upper management. This position is remote and based in Mexico.

What you'll do
In this role, you will determine the cost of operations by establishing standard costs and analyzing variances. You will collaborate with various departments, including Originations, Collections, and Member Servicing, to provide financial insights that drive decision-making. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of the Member Operations organization.
You will be responsible for preparing financial reports and presentations for upper management, ensuring that they have the necessary information to make informed decisions. You will also engage in continuous improvement initiatives, identifying areas where operational efficiencies can be enhanced.
