Who you are
You have a strong background in endpoint management, with experience leading engineering teams that handle Windows and macOS environments. Your expertise includes working with Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Intune, ensuring that enterprise endpoint platforms are robust and compliant. You understand the importance of setting high standards and maintaining operational stability while driving modernization initiatives. You are skilled in using PowerShell for automation and have a keen eye for metrics that reflect fleet health and delivery outcomes.
You thrive in a collaborative environment, partnering closely with service desks and peer teams to ensure smooth handoffs and clear documentation. Your leadership style is proactive; you lead from the front, unblocking issues and guiding your team through challenges. You are committed to fostering a culture of ownership and continuous improvement, providing feedback and career support to your team members.
You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively. You are data-driven, using metrics and dashboards to inform decision-making and keep leadership informed about compliance and deployment success. Desirable
Experience with enterprise-level endpoint management and familiarity with industry best practices for operating system image strategy and application packaging would be beneficial. What you'll do
In this role, you will own the roadmap and standards for Optiverβs enterprise endpoint platforms across various regions. You will be responsible for the operating system image strategy, application packaging and deployment, software updates, configuration, compliance, and overall platform hygiene. Your leadership will ensure that day-to-day operations run smoothly while you deliver meaningful modernization initiatives.
You will build clear visibility of fleet health and delivery outcomes, championing the use of meaningful metrics and dashboards. This will enable leadership and support teams to quickly assess compliance, patch status, and deployment success. You will run the program of work, balancing incidents, service requests, and problem management with planned changes and risk communication.
Collaboration is key in this role; you will partner closely with our service desk and peer teams to ensure that handoffs are smooth and that documentation is clear. You will set predictable change windows and keep stakeholders informed throughout the process. Your hands-on approach will involve reviewing designs, unblocking issues, and guiding automation efforts with PowerShell.
As a leader, you will coach your team across time zones, providing feedback and career support while fostering a culture that values ownership and continuous improvement. You will lead initiatives that enhance team performance and ensure that your team is equipped to meet the challenges of endpoint management effectively.
