Job Description

Who you are

You hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related field, and you have 3–5 years of experience in financial reporting or auditing. Your background may include exposure to Big 4 firms, which has equipped you with a strong understanding of financial principles. You possess a working knowledge of IFRS and Dutch GAAP, whether through formal study or practical application. Your analytical skills are complemented by a strong toolkit for financial reporting, allowing you to navigate complex financial landscapes with ease.

You are detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality work. Your experience has taught you the importance of accuracy and compliance in financial reporting, and you thrive in environments where operational excellence is prioritized. You are also comfortable working with data and using it to drive improvements in financial processes. Your collaborative nature enables you to work effectively with various stakeholders across the organization.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own parts of the monthly close process for both the Holding and Group entities. This includes preparing and reviewing journals, reconciliations, and analyses to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with IFRS and Dutch GAAP. You will advance CSRD readiness by supporting the Group Financial Controller with data, controls, and documentation for the 2027 CSRD reporting. Additionally, you will coordinate global audit deliverables by preparing schedules, responding to queries, and ensuring high-quality evidence for external auditors.

You will contribute to the Annual Report and Statutory Accounts by drafting notes, compiling disclosures, and aligning with stakeholders across the Group. Your role will also involve automating and improving processes by using a data-driven approach to identify, prioritize, and implement process automation, standardization, and reporting efficiencies. Furthermore, you will support various projects and ad-hoc topics, ranging from policy updates to system enhancements, controls, and reporting changes.

We offer a collaborative work environment that values diversity and inclusion. You will have the opportunity to work on impactful projects that drive operational excellence and contribute to the overall success of the company. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement, as we value curiosity and a growth mindset.
