What you'll do

As a Quantitative Trading Intern at Optiver, you will immerse yourself in the world of market making and quantitative trading. You will participate in a curated series of lectures and coursework that cover trading fundamentals, options pricing, and innovative trading strategies. This structured learning will equip you with the knowledge necessary to excel in a fast-paced trading environment.

You will have the opportunity to apply your theoretical knowledge in a simulated trading environment, where you will trade options using live market data. This hands-on experience will allow you to understand the intricacies of trading and the importance of data-driven decision-making. You will analyze historical data to develop your own algorithmic trading strategy, backtesting it to evaluate its effectiveness.

Throughout the internship, you will receive mentorship from experienced traders and engineers, who will guide you in refining your skills and understanding the quantitative trading landscape.
