Job Description
Who you are
You are a motivated Information Security Engineer with a hands-on approach to protecting and improving security across global systems. You have experience with cloud environments, particularly AWS and Microsoft 365, and possess a strong understanding of security best practices. Your engineering mindset and attention to detail enable you to identify threats and respond effectively to incidents. You are comfortable working in both cloud and on-premises environments, and you have a preference for pragmatic solutions that keep systems operating securely. You understand the importance of risk management and are skilled in incident response, ensuring that security operations run smoothly.
Desirable
Experience with Conditional Access, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Privileged Identity Management (PIM) is a plus. Familiarity with security automation tools and practices will enhance your ability to contribute to the team.
What you'll do
In this role, you will monitor daily security operations, identifying threats and investigating alerts to respond to incidents effectively. You will strengthen the security of Microsoft 365 and Entra ID through implementing Conditional Access, MFA, and PIM. Your responsibilities will include automating security operations to improve efficiency and embedding security best practices across the organization. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure that security measures are integrated into all aspects of the business. Your contributions will play a central role in risk mitigation and enhancing the overall security posture of Optiver.
