Who you are

You are a highly skilled AI Engineer with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, or a related field. With a minimum of 6 years of professional experience in developing Python applications, you possess deep familiarity with Python 3.x, including advanced features such as asyncio, type hints, and context managers. Your solid understanding of software design patterns, object-oriented design, and modular architecture allows you to create robust solutions that meet business needs.

You have excellent knowledge of common AI and machine learning libraries, and you understand how to integrate these with existing enterprise systems. Your experience includes developing AI agents, whether through commercial or open-source projects, and you are adept at troubleshooting and debugging AI systems to ensure optimal performance. You thrive in fast-moving environments and can translate strategy into code while measuring impact in tangible business outcomes.

Desirable

Experience with third-party models and their strengths and weaknesses is a plus. You are a collaborative team player who enjoys working with cross-functional teams to understand user needs and deliver effective AI solutions. Your commitment to producing high-quality, unit-tested code is evident in your adherence to consistent style and documentation practices through code reviews and CI/CD methodologies.

What you'll do

In this hands-on role, you will design and develop robust AI agents that orchestrate data, workflows, and decisions across the firm. You will own the full lifecycle of AI projects, from rapid prototyping through production rollout, ensuring that technical choices align with clear business outcomes. Your responsibilities will include integrating AI solutions with existing systems, maintaining a platform for the evaluation of agents, and collaborating with teams to understand user needs.

You will produce high-quality code and uphold consistent documentation standards, participating in code reviews to maintain the integrity of the codebase. Troubleshooting and debugging AI systems will be a key part of your role, ensuring that the solutions you develop perform optimally in a trading environment. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers and contribute to the overall growth of the team.
