What you'll do
As a Software Engineer at Optiver, you will design, develop, support, and maintain trading systems, tools, and infrastructure that are critical to our operations. You will collaborate deeply with traders, risk analysts, researchers, and other engineers to gain an in-depth understanding of trading theory and practice, allowing you to create solutions that are not only functional but also aligned with our trading strategies.
You will be responsible for refining, storing, and analyzing terabytes of data produced by market activity and our trading systems, ensuring that our systems can respond to market events in microseconds or less. Your work will involve creating user interfaces that present coherent, responsive real-time visualizations of market activity and system performance, providing intuitive control of a highly complex system.
