What you'll do

As a Software Developer Intern at Optiver, you will work closely with experienced engineers to develop applications that enhance our trading capabilities. You will participate in a comprehensive training program led by our in-house education team, gaining insights into advanced engineering concepts and quantitative trading. Throughout the 8-week internship, you will manage a project from start to finish, learning how to navigate a complex code base and make meaningful contributions to production systems. You will tackle real trading and IT challenges, applying the latest AI technologies to improve our trading success. By the end of the internship, you will have a deeper understanding of how technology drives the quantitative trading industry and may receive an offer to return as a Graduate Software Developer.
