What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining low latency execution platforms that are critical to Optiver's trading operations. You will work closely with auto-trading algorithms to ensure that orders are placed with minimal latency, implementing risk boundary checks and managing order flows effectively. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and performance of trading strategies across various financial instruments.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications — your ability to communicate complex ideas clearly will be essential in this role. You will also participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall improvement of the development process, ensuring that best practices are followed.

As a senior engineer, you will mentor junior team members, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their roles. You will be involved in the design and architecture of new features, ensuring that they align with the company's goals and meet the needs of traders and other stakeholders.
