Who you are

You have 3+ years of experience trading index rolls, dividends, and/or equity repo — you possess a track record of profitably pricing and trading rolls, demonstrating your expertise in the field. Your analytical skills allow you to identify new opportunities and areas for growth, which you actively explore to help expand the business. You are comfortable collaborating with different parts of the organization to influence trading decisions and projects, showcasing your ability to work cross-functionally. Your communication skills enable you to represent Optiver externally, working with brokers and direct counterparties to provide liquidity effectively.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for trading and position taking in equity repo and dividends across multiple markets, both at the index and single stock level. You will identify new trading opportunities and areas for growth, actively exploring these to contribute to the business's expansion. Collaborating with various teams within the organization, you will influence trading decisions and projects, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. Additionally, you will represent Optiver externally, engaging with brokers and direct counterparties to provide liquidity and maintain strong market relationships.
