You are an analytical thinker with a strong interest in medical economics and healthcare analytics. You have a foundational understanding of financial projections and cost analysis, and you are eager to learn from experienced professionals in the field. You thrive in collaborative environments and are comfortable working with cross-functional teams, including Data Science and Finance. You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to effectively convey complex information to various stakeholders. You are detail-oriented and have a passion for identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements in healthcare.
What you'll do
As an Associate in Medical Economics, you will be part of the Medical Cost Analytics team, where you will analyze medical costs to understand trend drivers and project financial outcomes. You will work closely with Medical Economics leadership to monitor programs and identify cost-saving opportunities. Your role will involve collaborating with Data Science, Finance, and Payment Integrity teams to ensure that accurate projections are reflected in management reporting. You will report directly to the Senior Director of Medical Economics and contribute to the overall success of the department by providing valuable insights and analysis.
