What you'll do

As a Staff Software Engineer at Oscar, you will lead the design and development of enhancements to our next-generation claims and payment processing systems. You will be responsible for architecting scalable and reliable systems that ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our claims and payment processes. Your role will involve working on a broad problem space, including contract and pricing configuration, and applying AI to improve processes.

You will collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to identify opportunities for system improvements and implement solutions that enhance user experience and operational efficiency. Your leadership will guide the team in adopting best practices for software development, ensuring that the systems you build are robust and maintainable. You will also participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.

What we offer
