Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly in full stack development, and you are comfortable working across the entire technology stack. Your expertise includes proficiency in Python and JavaScript frameworks, and you have a solid understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies. You are familiar with cloud services, particularly AWS, and have experience with containerization tools like Docker. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with product, design, and machine learning teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. You are committed to maintaining high engineering standards and enjoy mentoring junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and experience to help them grow.

Desirable

Experience with Django and Vue.js is a plus, as is familiarity with database management systems like PostgreSQL. You have a passion for solving complex problems and are always looking for ways to improve processes and systems. You understand the importance of code reviews and testing, ensuring that the software you develop is robust and reliable.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for building new features for both internal and external users, as well as refactoring existing ones to enhance their performance and usability. You will engage in solving interesting problems with code, driving the architecture of the application platform while considering future product roadmaps. Your work will involve collaborating with various teams, including product management, design, and infrastructure, to ensure that the software meets user needs and adheres to high standards of quality. You will also take part in code reviews, ensuring that all code is adequately tested and integrated into the existing codebase. Mentoring junior engineers will be a key part of your role, as you help them develop their skills and navigate challenges in their work.

What we offer

PathAI offers a competitive salary range of $127,500 to $195,500, tailored to your skills and experience. In addition to cash compensation, some roles are eligible for equity participation through restricted stock units (RSUs).
