Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in machine learning and data analysis, with a strong background in developing and deploying machine learning models. You are proficient in Python and have hands-on experience with frameworks like TensorFlow and Keras, allowing you to build effective machine learning solutions. Your analytical skills enable you to conduct exploratory data analyses and understand project impacts effectively.

You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with product, engineering, design, and legal teams to design and implement machine learning solutions. You are familiar with data preparation techniques, including crowdsourcing data labeling, and have a keen eye for detail when analyzing and preparing training data. Your ability to debug models and ensure their observability is a key strength.

What you'll do

In this role, you will conduct exploratory data analyses to identify opportunities for machine learning applications within the Patreon platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners to design effective machine learning solutions that enhance user engagement and creator success. Your responsibilities will include analyzing and preparing training data, training and iterating on machine learning models, and deploying these models to production.

You will also write backend code when necessary to ensure the proper deployment of models, and you will be responsible for debugging and optimizing these models based on performance metrics. Your work will directly contribute to Patreon's mission of supporting creators and enhancing their interactions with fans.
