Overview
Paytm is hiring an Area Sales Manager to drive merchant acquisition and growth in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. You'll be responsible for deploying QR and Soundbox products while managing a sales team. This role requires strong networking capabilities and a willingness to travel extensively.

You are an experienced sales professional with a proven track record in driving market share and distribution growth. You possess strong networking capabilities and are willing to travel extensively throughout your specified area. Your skills in coaching and mentoring are complemented by your ability to quickly learn and apply new concepts effectively.
You have a deep understanding of sales strategies and are adept at identifying and recruiting a sales team that aligns with business goals. Your experience in managing sales operations ensures that you can effectively communicate plans and targets to minimize the expectations versus delivery gap. You are detail-oriented and capable of monitoring quality parameters as suggested by management, ensuring that your team meets and exceeds performance standards.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for the growth of distribution and market share in your assigned area of operations. You will oversee the deployment and sale of QR and Soundbox products, ensuring visibility and accountability throughout the process. Your responsibilities will include planning the market size, span, and geographies for Area Sales Managers, as well as devising effective communication methods to relay plans and targets to your team.
You will conduct regular audits on acquisitions and sales performed by your team, validating their effectiveness and ensuring compliance with company standards. Your leadership will be crucial in driving the success of the QR and Soundbox vertical, as you work closely with your team to achieve business objectives. You will also play a key role in fostering a culture of accountability and performance excellence within your team.
