Paytm is hiring a Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll operations across multiple group entities. You'll ensure accurate salary processing and compliance while leading payroll improvements.
Job Description
Who you are
You have experience in payroll operations, managing both on-roll and off-roll employees across multiple entities. Your attention to detail ensures that all data related to attendance, variable pay, bonuses, allowances, and deductions is captured accurately and processed on time. You possess strong communication and stakeholder management skills, allowing you to liaise effectively with HR, finance, compliance, and senior leadership. Your leadership and mentoring abilities enable you to supervise and guide junior team members while managing deadlines and ensuring smooth operations. You thrive under pressure and are adept at meeting strict payroll and statutory compliance timelines.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead payroll processing for Paytm Group entities, ensuring timely and accurate salary disbursement. You will review salary structures and input files, manage bonus and variable-pay calculations, and handle changes such as employee joining, exits, promotions, and salary revisions. Your responsibilities will also include managing statutory compliance and conducting complex reconciliations and audits. You will be tasked with continuously improving payroll processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy, ensuring that the payroll system integrates seamlessly with other operational systems.
