Who you are

You are a Product Designer with a strong problem-solving ability and solid design craft. You have experience owning product areas end-to-end and creating high-quality designs that elevate user experience. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with product managers, engineers, and researchers to ensure design is central to decision-making. You are also passionate about mentoring junior designers, guiding them through feedback and helping them grow in their craft.

You have a keen eye for detail and can break down user and business challenges into clear, elegant design solutions. You are comfortable presenting and defending your design decisions with clarity and confidence to peers and stakeholders. Your ability to apply and extend existing design systems ensures consistency across product experiences, making you a valuable asset to the team.

What you'll do

In this role, you will take end-to-end responsibility for medium-to-large product features, from concept to delivery. You will create polished interaction and visual designs that align with design systems and enhance user experience. Collaborating deeply with product managers, engineers, and researchers, you will ensure that design is integral to the decision-making process. You will also contribute to existing design systems, ensuring that all product experiences are consistent and user-friendly.

You will articulate your design decisions clearly, presenting them to peers and stakeholders while defending your choices with confidence. As a mentor, you will guide early-career designers through constructive feedback, helping them develop their skills and grow within the organization. Your role will be pivotal in pushing for excellence in design and contributing to the overall success of Paytm's mission to serve half a billion Indians.
