Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in machine learning engineering, with a strong background in building and deploying ML models at scale. You are proficient in Python and have hands-on experience with frameworks like TensorFlow and Keras, enabling you to develop robust machine learning systems. Your understanding of AWS and cloud infrastructure allows you to create scalable solutions that meet the demands of a growing user base.
You possess excellent problem-solving skills and a keen analytical mindset, which help you identify and mitigate potential fraud risks effectively. Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product and engineering, ensures that you can deliver impactful solutions that enhance user security. You are also passionate about mentoring junior engineers, sharing your knowledge, and contributing to the long-term technical vision of your team.
What you'll do
As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer on Plaidβs Fraud Data team, you will lead the design and implementation of scalable ML infrastructure that powers our fraud detection products. You will oversee the entire ML lifecycle, from developing feature pipelines to deploying and monitoring models in production. Your role will involve enhancing our model deployment and observability frameworks to ensure high reliability and performance at scale.
You will collaborate closely with teams across ML Infrastructure, Product, and Engineering to deliver robust systems that protect users and customers from fraud. Your responsibilities will include mentoring other engineers, shaping the technical strategy of the Fraud Data team, and ensuring that our systems scale efficiently as Plaid continues to grow.
