You have 5+ years of software engineering experience, particularly in building and operating scalable systems. Your expertise in machine learning infrastructure allows you to design robust platforms that support model development and deployment. You are comfortable collaborating with product teams to ensure that machine learning systems are reliable and efficient.

Your deep technical knowledge includes proficiency in Python and familiarity with tools like MLflow and Kubernetes. You understand the importance of creating secure and scalable ML platforms and have experience with cloud services such as AWS. You are also skilled in mentoring peers and influencing architectural decisions within your team.

What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Machine Learning Infrastructure team, you will play a crucial role in Plaid's transformation into an AI-first company. You will design and build systems that enable model developers to experiment, train, deploy, and monitor machine learning systems effectively. Your work will involve replacing legacy systems with modern solutions, including a feature store and standardized ML Ops processes.

You will collaborate closely with ML product teams to accelerate the delivery of AI-powered products, ensuring that the infrastructure you build supports their needs. This hands-on role will require you to contribute to core infrastructure, influence architectural direction, and help define the best practices for ML development and deployment at Plaid.
