Who you are

You have 6 years of experience in big data development, including real-time and offline data processing, modeling, ETL development, and data analysis — you've successfully designed and implemented data warehouse solutions that meet business requirements. Your proficiency in multiple OLAP storage solutions such as Hive, Spark, and Snowflake allows you to optimize data processing performance effectively.

You possess a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a technical field like Computer Science or Engineering — your educational background has equipped you with the necessary skills to tackle complex data challenges. You are comfortable collaborating with business teams and data analysts to understand their needs and provide tailored data solutions.

Your experience includes ensuring data quality and stability in data processing platforms — you continuously seek to improve platform efficiency and performance. You are familiar with AI application products and understand how to integrate data solutions into real-life user scenarios.

You have a proven track record of shipping globalized products and are comfortable driving alignment across multicultural, cross-functional teams — your fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese enhances your ability to communicate effectively in diverse environments.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing data warehouse systems, including data model design and ETL process development. You will collaborate closely with business teams and data analysts to understand their requirements and provide effective data warehouse solutions. Your focus will be on continuously optimizing data processing performance and improving platform stability and efficiency.

You will participate in research on new technology trends and drive the next-generation upgrade of the data platform — your insights will help shape the future of data management at Plaud. You will also ensure data quality assurance throughout the data lifecycle, implementing best practices to maintain high standards.

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of learning and collaboration within the team. You will have the opportunity to work on innovative AI-native hardware and software solutions that transform meetings and conversations into actionable insights.
