What you'll do

As a Machine Learning Researcher Intern at Point72, you will be responsible for applying, adapting, and extending existing machine learning results while conducting novel research as required. You will manage all aspects of the research process, including methodology selection, data collection and analysis, implementation and testing, prototyping, and performance evaluation. Your work will involve collaborating with experienced portfolio managers and researchers, allowing you to gain hands-on guidance and insights into the financial sector.

You will engage in various aspects of machine learning research, focusing on predictive modeling, clustering, time series analysis, natural language processing, and computer vision. Your contributions will help shape the research direction and impact the application of machine learning techniques within the firm.
