What you'll do

In this role, you will develop and manage reliability metrics for Postman’s AI-driven API services — your focus will be on ensuring the performance and scalability of these systems in production. You will implement comprehensive observability and monitoring systems that provide real-time insights into service health and performance.

You will design and drive automated failover, recovery, and incident response strategies — your proactive approach will help minimize service disruptions and enhance user satisfaction. Collaborating with engineering teams, you will identify opportunities for automation and optimization, streamlining processes to improve overall system reliability.

You will lead initiatives to enhance the reliability of AI services — your expertise will guide the team in adopting best practices and implementing solutions that align with industry standards. You will also mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and fostering a culture of continuous learning within the team.
