What you'll do

As the Engineering Director for the Card Processing Domain, you will own the end-to-end technical strategy and architecture for PPRO’s local card-rail portfolio. You will act as the Engineering site lead for the São Paulo hub, supporting teams both locally and internationally. Your mission is to build a world-class local card-processing platform that maximizes approval rates, minimizes fraud and cost, and provides customers with seamless access to local card schemes. You will partner closely with various teams to ensure that transactions flow smoothly, safely, and profitably.

You will lead a team of approximately 40 engineers, mentoring them and cultivating a culture of ownership and innovation. Your responsibilities will include defining technical roadmaps, overseeing project execution, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. You will also be involved in strategic decision-making, collaborating with senior leadership to align engineering initiatives with business goals. Your role will require you to stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve PPRO’s offerings.
