Pulselive is seeking an iOS Engineer to build engaging solutions for sports fans worldwide. You'll work with Swift and Xcode to create bespoke UI experiences. This contract role offers a day rate of £400 - £500.
Job Description
Who you are
You are an experienced iOS Engineer with a strong background in designing and architecting iOS applications. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with other mobile developers as well as back-end and web engineers. Your expertise in Swift and Xcode allows you to produce high-quality code that is both functional and maintainable. You have a keen eye for detail, ensuring that the final product meets the highest standards of quality and user experience. You are familiar with SOLID principles and understand the importance of writing unit tests and applying test-driven development (TDD) practices. Your experience with task management tools like JIRA helps you stay organized and efficient in your work.
Desirable
You have additional experience working with Objective-C and are comfortable navigating large existing code bases. Familiarity with content management systems and web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus. You are adaptable and open to learning new approaches as needed.
What you'll do
In this role, you will take ownership of the design and implementation of iOS solutions that engage millions of sports fans. You will manage code releases to both internal and external environments, ensuring that deployments are smooth and efficient. Your responsibilities will include producing rich user-facing UIs and documenting your solutions and code thoroughly. You will collaborate with your team to break down work into manageable pieces, identify blockers, and deliver solutions in a timely manner. Your attention to detail will ensure that the final product is secure and scalable, meeting the requirements set forth by the team. You will also be responsible for communicating effectively with your colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes for the projects you work on.
