Job Description
Who you are
You are a Data Scientist with a strong foundation in statistical analysis and data visualization — you understand how to translate complex business questions into statistical problems and have experience in locating and combining diverse data sources. You thrive in environments where you can transform large datasets into actionable insights, and you are skilled at running in-depth analyses that drive decision-making.
Your expertise includes building machine learning models that automate large-scale decisions — you have a knack for integrating these models into live business processes, ensuring they deliver real-time value. You are adept at interpreting and visualizing results, making complex data accessible and understandable for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What you'll do
As a Data Scientist at QuantCo, you will be responsible for identifying the right frameworks to tackle business questions through data — this involves a deep dive into statistical methodologies and the application of machine learning techniques. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to locate and combine various data sources, ensuring that the data you work with is comprehensive and relevant.
You will engage in the transformation of large datasets, preparing them for analysis and model building. Your role will also involve running in-depth analyses to uncover insights that can drive strategic decisions. You will build and refine machine learning models, focusing on automating processes that enhance business efficiency and effectiveness.
In addition to technical responsibilities, you will play a key role in communicating your findings — you will visualize data and results in a way that resonates with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that your insights lead to actionable outcomes. Your ability to convey complex information clearly will be crucial in influencing business strategies and decisions.
What we offer
At QuantCo, you will be part of a dynamic team that values innovation and impact — we encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement.
