Qumulo is hiring a Data Center Technician to install and maintain hardware, manage inventory, and troubleshoot systems across their labs and data centers. You'll work with various technologies including servers and networking gear in Seattle.

Job Description

Who you are

You are a detail-oriented individual with a hands-on approach to technology. You thrive in environments where you can solve problems on the ground, ensuring that infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently. Your experience includes installing and maintaining hardware, managing inventory, and troubleshooting various systems. You have a basic understanding of networking and cable management, which allows you to handle tasks involving fiber, ethernet, and other connections. You are comfortable working with operating systems such as Windows and OSX, and you are eager to learn and adapt to new technologies as needed.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for installing, provisioning, and repairing data center hardware, including client hardware, storage nodes, and networking gear. You will manage cable connections and ensure proper organization and functionality of networking setups. Your tasks will also include monitoring HVAC alerts and managing shipping logistics to maintain operational efficiency. You will play a key role in keeping Qumulo's technical operations on track, collaborating with team members to address any issues that arise and ensuring that all systems are functioning optimally. Your contributions will directly impact the performance and reliability of the data center, making you an essential part of the team.
