Who you are

You have extensive experience in network security, particularly in troubleshooting complex customer network environments. Your expertise includes firewall configurations, VPN technologies, and access-control lists, ensuring that you can effectively address a variety of technical issues. You are proactive in identifying potential pitfalls and suggesting automation solutions that enhance the stability and security of customer solutions.

You possess strong communication skills, allowing you to keep customers informed throughout the resolution process. Your ability to work with various tools and automation platforms is complemented by your commitment to adhering to company security policies and procedures. What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-level technical support to customers, addressing complex issues that may take several days or weeks to resolve. You will engage with customers through phone and ticketing systems, ensuring they are updated at every step of the process. Your role will involve troubleshooting customer network environments, including firewall configurations and VPN technologies, while also managing access-control lists and VIP configurations.

You will create and maintain customer loyalty by delivering Fanatical Experiences that exceed expectations. Your responsibilities will include advising customers on potential pitfalls and suggesting alternatives through automation, enhancing the overall security and stability of their solutions. You will also support various elements of the Rackspace Cloud product portfolio, including RackConnect, ensuring that customers receive the best possible service.
