Who you are
You are a currently enrolled university student who is enthusiastic about building online communities and connecting people. You have a knack for engaging with peers and are eager to represent Reddit on your campus while gaining valuable hands-on experience in community management and event planning. Your passion for digital communities drives you to create spaces where students can share academic advice and cultural trends.
You possess strong communication skills and are comfortable explaining the value of Reddit to new users. You are proactive in onboarding students and helping them discover relevant communities that enhance their university experience. You are also organized and capable of planning events that foster engagement and connection among students.
What you'll do
As a Reddit Campus Ambassador, you will be responsible for building and growing your college's subreddit into a vibrant hub for student life. This involves organizing at least one event per month, such as meetups, AMAs, and creative activations that make Reddit an integral part of the student experience. You will track community growth and engagement, providing feedback and insights to Reddit on student needs and the impact of your on-campus events.
Your role will require you to actively engage with students, encouraging them to join Reddit and participate in discussions that matter to them. You will be the face of Reddit on your campus, representing the brand and its values while fostering a sense of community among users. Your efforts will help shape the way students interact with Reddit and each other, making it a go-to platform for their needs.
