Job Description
Who you are
You have 2+ years of experience with training, fine-tuning, and evaluating machine learning models used in production systems — you've successfully deployed models that enhance data processing and improve accuracy. Your expertise in Python or similar languages allows you to build tools and applications that facilitate your work, such as creating a quick Streamlit app to test hypotheses or generate datasets. You approach product development with a quantitative mindset, enabling you to debug, experiment, and iterate quickly to achieve optimal results.
You are your own worst critic, maintaining a high bar for quality and ensuring that you deliver work that meets your standards — you don't settle for mediocrity and are proactive in identifying and solving problems. Your experience with both traditional computer vision and vision language models (VLMs) equips you with a diverse skill set that is essential for the role. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with AI teams to ingest real-world enterprise data with state-of-the-art accuracy.
What you'll do
As a Machine Learning Engineer at Reducto, you will be responsible for training and deploying machine learning models that are critical to the performance of our core product. You will work on ingesting unstructured data from various sources, including financial statements and health records, transforming them into structured formats that can be utilized effectively. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that the models you develop meet the needs of our clients and enhance their data processing capabilities.
You will also be tasked with fine-tuning existing models and evaluating their performance in production environments — this includes conducting experiments to improve model accuracy and efficiency. Your ability to build your own tools will be invaluable as you create solutions that streamline processes and enhance the overall functionality of our products. You will engage in continuous learning and experimentation, staying updated with the latest advancements in machine learning and computer vision to ensure that Reducto remains at the forefront of technology.
