You have extensive experience in medical affairs, particularly in leading teams of Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sectors. Your background includes a deep understanding of neuromuscular disorders, specifically Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD), and you are adept at building relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in the field. You possess strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset, enabling you to work effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve medical objectives.

What you'll do

As the Senior Director/Director of Medical Science Liaisons, you will be responsible for building and leading MSL teams that support REGENXBIO’s clinical development programs. You will collaborate closely with therapeutic area Medical Directors to develop and implement field medical strategies that align with Medical Affairs goals. Your role will involve planning and executing advisory boards, managing KOL relationships, and providing medical support at congresses to enhance the visibility of REGENXBIO’s neuromuscular/DMD programs.

You will also oversee the training and development of MSLs, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively communicate scientific data to healthcare professionals. Your leadership will play a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction of the MSL function, driving engagement with the medical community, and ultimately contributing to the success of REGENXBIO’s mission to improve patient outcomes.
