Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in hardware development, particularly in the aerospace or robotics sectors — you've designed and implemented complex systems that require precision and reliability. Your expertise in Embedded Linux allows you to work effectively on software-hardware integration, ensuring that all components function seamlessly together. You are proficient in C and C++, which you have used to develop firmware for various hardware systems. Familiarity with AutoCAD is essential, as you will be involved in creating detailed designs and schematics for hardware components. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to solve challenging problems and innovate new solutions. You are passionate about aerospace technology and eager to contribute to groundbreaking projects that push the boundaries of what is possible.
What you'll do

This includes designing, prototyping, testing, and validating hardware components that are critical for navigation and control systems. You will collaborate with the avionics team to ensure that the hardware integrates effectively with the vehicle's nervous system. Your role will involve conducting rigorous testing to validate the performance and reliability of navigation systems under various conditions. You will also be expected to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the development process, ensuring that all hardware meets the highest standards of quality and safety. Additionally, you will mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their roles. Your contributions will directly impact the success of the Terran R program, as you help to develop innovative solutions that meet the growing demand for launch capacity.
What we offer
At Relativity, you will be part of a dynamic team that is at the forefront of aerospace innovation. We offer a competitive salary range of $159,000—$204,000 USD, along with comprehensive benefits that support your health and well-being.
