Relativity is seeking a Mechanical Engineer II for their Engine Systems & Test Team to oversee propulsion testing and system architecture. You have a solid background in mechanical engineering, with experience in propulsion systems and testing methodologies. You understand the complexities of rocket design and are eager to contribute to innovative projects that push the boundaries of aerospace technology. You have experience with simulation and software tools, and you're comfortable navigating system-level architecture and requirements. You are detail-oriented and have a strong grasp of component testing, ensuring that every aspect of the propulsion system meets rigorous standards. Desirable
Experience with hotfire testing and integrated systems is a plus. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations will help you excel in this role. A background in working with manufacturing teams and understanding the production process will also be beneficial.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for leading propulsion test activities, ensuring that all tests are conducted safely and effectively. You will collaborate with component engineers to define testing requirements and develop test plans that align with project goals.
