You have a solid background in UX research, with experience in various methodologies to gather user insights and inform design decisions. You understand the importance of user-centered design and can effectively communicate findings to stakeholders. Your analytical skills allow you to interpret data and translate it into actionable recommendations. You are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams, including designers and product managers, to create impactful user experiences. You are passionate about technology and how it can empower users to build custom solutions. You thrive in a dynamic environment and are eager to contribute to a team that values innovation and creativity.
Desirable
Experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods is a plus, as is familiarity with usability testing and user interviews. Knowledge of design tools such as Figma or Adobe XD can enhance your contributions to the team. A background in software development or an understanding of technical concepts will help you communicate effectively with engineering teams.
What you'll do
As a UX Researcher at Retool, you will lead user research initiatives to understand the needs and pain points of our users. You will design and conduct studies, including interviews, surveys, and usability tests, to gather insights that will inform product development. Your findings will help shape the direction of our enterprise AppGen platform, ensuring it meets the needs of a diverse user base. You will collaborate closely with designers and product managers to translate research insights into actionable design improvements. Additionally, you will present your findings to stakeholders, advocating for user-centered design principles throughout the organization. Your role will be crucial in helping Retool create software that empowers users to build custom solutions effectively.
