Who you are
You have a strong background in supply chain management, particularly in planning and procurement. Your experience includes developing and revising Master Production Schedules to meet sales demands effectively. You are dependable, self-motivated, and adaptable to changing environments, which is crucial in managing multiple projects simultaneously. Your history in materials management and inventory planning equips you with the skills necessary to excel in this role.
You understand the importance of collaboration and communication, as you will work closely with technical operations and other function leaders to ensure production goals are met. Your proactive approach allows you to identify potential issues before they arise, ensuring a streamlined process in purchasing and planning activities.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for planning and executing the Master Production Schedule, ensuring that finished goods are available in a timely manner to meet sales demands. You will revise the schedule as needed for design changes, labor or material shortages, and other interruptions, collaborating with R&D, Engineering, Sales, and Operations as necessary. Your ability to maintain and identify economic order quantities will be essential in coordinating with suppliers to meet minimum order quantities.
You will also be tasked with ensuring that both GMP and non-GMP purchasing and planning activities are conducted efficiently. This involves a keen understanding of cost-effective strategies to meet production goals while maintaining quality standards. Your role will require you to balance multiple priorities and projects, making your organizational skills vital to your success.
