Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly in building large-scale systems that are both performant and reliable. You enjoy taking ownership of features from inception to deployment, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Your background includes working with AWS and Java, and you have a strong understanding of system architecture and design principles. You thrive in environments where you can deepen your systems skills and contribute to the overall architecture of the platform. You are detail-oriented and understand the importance of data correctness and system stability, especially in multi-tenant environments.
Desirable
Experience with PDF rendering systems or similar templating technologies is a plus. Familiarity with batch-oriented processing and workflow management will help you excel in this role. You are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams, blending backend engineering with product design to create user-friendly interfaces for reporting workflows.
What you'll do
As a Senior Software Engineer on the Reporting Workflow team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing systems that generate pixel-perfect PDF investment statements for our clients. You will work closely with product managers and designers to create UI surfaces that allow users to configure and monitor reporting workflows. Your role will involve optimizing system performance under heavy loads and ensuring that workflows execute efficiently across the broader Ridgeline system. You will also contribute to the architecture of the platform, focusing on scalability and data correctness. Your work will directly impact the quality of client deliverables, making you a key player in our mission to provide exceptional reporting solutions.
