Overview
Ritual is hiring a Software Engineer Intern to work on pioneering AI infrastructure at the intersection of crypto and AI. You'll prototype and iterate on projects involving cryptographic schemes and open-source AI technologies. This role is ideal for intellectually curious individuals with a passion for interdisciplinary fields.
Job Description
Who you are
You are intellectually curious about the intersections of interdisciplinary fields such as game theory, cryptography, and machine learning — you thrive in environments where rapid prototyping and iteration are essential. You have experience in cryptography and machine learning software projects, ideally in open-source settings, and are eager to contribute to innovative solutions that bridge these transformative technologies.
You enjoy working collaboratively with a passionate group of engineers, researchers, and operators, and you are excited about the opportunity to release your work into the open-source world. You are adaptable and ready to tackle challenges at the frontier of modern cryptographic schemes and AI applications.
What you'll do
As a Software Engineer Intern at Ritual, you will prototype rapidly and execute quickly based on technical guidance. You will work on the Ritual chain, which is custom-built to support AI-native operations, and contribute to our first product, Infernet. Your role will involve collaborating with the team to develop solutions that enable developers to access AI models both on-chain via smart contracts and off-chain.
You will be involved in the development cycles, focusing on writing and proof-of-concept projects that demonstrate the capabilities of our technology. You will have the opportunity to learn from experienced engineers and contribute to open-source projects that have a real impact on the AI infrastructure landscape.
What we offer
Joining Ritual means being part of a mission-driven team that is dedicated to building the next generation of AI infrastructure. You will have the chance to maximize your knowledge gradient around fields that typically do not intersect, and you will work in an environment that encourages collaboration and innovation. We are open to exceptional individuals from all backgrounds, whether you are in high school, an undergraduate, or pursuing postgraduate studies. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a cutting-edge field while contributing to meaningful projects.
