Who you are
You have a strong background in advertising and promotion law, particularly with respect to FTC and FDA regulations. With at least 5 years of experience in a legal counsel role, you are adept at reviewing consumer-facing materials and ensuring compliance across various platforms. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with marketing and growth teams to provide legal guidance on advertising content. Your ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail sets you apart. You are comfortable mentoring junior attorneys, fostering their growth and development in the field of advertising law.
Desirable
Experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry is a plus, as is familiarity with digital marketing practices. You are proactive in staying updated on changes in advertising regulations and can effectively communicate these changes to your team. Your strong analytical skills allow you to assess risks and provide sound legal advice that aligns with business objectives.
What you'll do
As the Senior Counsel for Advertising & Promotion, you will review and approve advertising and promotional materials to ensure compliance with applicable regulations. You will partner with the Growth and Marketing teams to provide legal counsel on marketing strategies across various platforms, including social media, websites, and traditional media. Your role will involve drafting and revising legal documents, as well as conducting training sessions for marketing staff on compliance issues. You will also manage a junior attorney, guiding them in their work and helping them develop their skills in advertising law. Your expertise will be crucial in navigating complex regulatory landscapes and ensuring that all marketing initiatives are legally sound.
