You have 5+ years of experience in machine learning and data analysis, with a strong background in developing and deploying machine learning models at scale. Your expertise in Python and familiarity with frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch enable you to tackle complex problems effectively. You understand the nuances of safety data and are passionate about creating safer online communities.
You possess excellent problem-solving skills and can communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Your collaborative spirit allows you to work effectively with cross-functional teams, ensuring that safety considerations are integrated into product development. You are committed to fostering a positive and inclusive environment in online communities.
Desirable
Experience with large-scale data processing and familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP would be a plus. Knowledge of data privacy regulations and ethical AI practices is also beneficial.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the development of machine learning models that enhance the safety and integrity of the Roblox platform. You will work closely with product teams to identify safety challenges and design solutions that leverage data-driven insights. Your responsibilities will include building and optimizing data pipelines, conducting experiments to evaluate model performance, and iterating on solutions based on user feedback.
You will also collaborate with data engineers to ensure the availability and quality of data for model training. As a senior member of the team, you will mentor junior engineers and contribute to the overall technical direction of the Safety Core Data team. Your work will directly impact the user experience, helping to create a safer and more civil environment for millions of users.
