What you'll do
As a Senior Frontend Platform Engineer at Rover, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the frontend architecture that powers the Rover app and website. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to create high-quality user experiences that meet the needs of pet owners and sitters. Your role will involve writing clean, maintainable code and participating in code reviews to ensure best practices are followed. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process, helping to implement new tools and technologies that enhance team productivity.
You will have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their roles. Additionally, you will work closely with the Client Platform team to build out the fundamental tech that supports Rover's internal operations. Your contributions will directly impact the user experience and help Rover achieve its mission of connecting pet parents with trusted caregivers.
