You are an advanced PhD candidate with a strong background in data science and a passion for research. Your expertise lies in translating theoretical concepts into practical applications, particularly in the realm of Cyber Security. You have a deep understanding of State-of-the-Art methodologies, especially in LLMs and Advanced NLP, and you thrive in a hands-on research environment.

You possess the ability to lead long-horizon research initiatives that require advanced methodologies, such as novel anomaly detection architectures or LLM-based reasoning for security threats. Your academic rigor is complemented by your practical skills, allowing you to bridge the gap between academia and industry effectively.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead specific, deep-dive research initiatives that tackle high-complexity challenges without the pressure of daily sprint cycles. You will design and prototype advanced LLM workflows to address security challenges that standard APIs cannot handle. Acting as a knowledge hub for the team, you will bring SOTA academic concepts and recent paper findings into the team's toolkit, enhancing their capabilities.

You will also focus on high-impact prototyping, building functional Proofs of Concept (POCs) that the full-time engineering team can operationalize. Your contributions will significantly influence the development of data science algorithms for Rubrik’s product line, particularly in the context of Cyber Security.
